Privacy policy

Seamfold works on your iPhone. The developer does not collect, see or sell your photos, captions or plans. There is no account and no analytics. The only data leaving the device is purchase status, which Apple and a billing service process when you buy Pro or restore a purchase.

Who is responsible for your data?

The developer of Seamfold is responsible for this policy. Seamfold has no account and no server of its own, so the developer does not receive your photos, captions or plans.

Photos you pick

You choose photos with the system photo picker. Only the photos you pick reach the app, and Seamfold never asks for access to your whole library.

Picked photos are copied into the app's private storage on your iPhone so your spreads keep working. Deleting a spread or a feed tile, or using Erase everything in Settings, removes those copies.

Saving to Photos

When you save panels or a teaser card, iOS asks for add-only permission. Seamfold can add images to your library but cannot read it.

Captions, plans and settings

Spreads, captions, planned dates, statuses, your handle and settings are stored only on this iPhone. They are included in your own device backups under Apple's rules.

Layout links and QR codes

Teaser cards can carry a link or QR code to a Seamfold layout page. The link holds a layout name, a ratio, a panel count and a background color, in the part of the address that browsers do not send to servers. No photo, name or identifier is included.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. Seamfold uses a third-party billing service, to check whether Pro is active. The billing service receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history and keeps them under its own policy. It does not receive your name, email, photos or captions. The app's privacy manifest lists purchase history and a user ID as collected, not linked to you and not used for tracking.

What Seamfold does not do

It has no analytics or advertising SDKs, no tracking, no data brokers and no account. It does not post on your behalf and never connects to a social network.

Children

Seamfold is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Retention, contact and changes

Data stays on your iPhone until you remove it with Erase everything in Settings or by deleting the app. Questions go to the contact details at the end of this page. If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes and the app shows the new text.
